This 1988 Honda RS 500 W is one of the last privateer bikes of this series, the one with the perimeter frame, produced by Honda.
Sold new by the Italian importer to an Italian team in order to participate in the 1988 500cc World Championship it finally didn’t participate in all the races and subsequently has rarely been used.
A collector bought it in 2000 and it was restored in 2014 by a French specialist, a former team mechanic of Honda France.
Freddy Spencer used it during the Sunday Ride Classic on the Paul Ricard race track in April 2014. “Fast Freddy” said he was delighted to race it and appreciated the quality of the work carried out.
This bike is available in France with an extensive stock of spares.
We’ll provide the asking price upon simple request.
