Some classic motorcycles inspire collectors. If, in addition to the rarity, they are in a “state contest”, original, it is the Holy Grail of the collector.
This 1969 Norton Commando was one of the most important model from the British production during the 1960/1980 period.
At almost 50 years old, this Commando is in “brand new” condition and 100% original.
Restored in France in 2016 by Didier Lefèvre, the grandson of Clément Garreau who was the famous French importer of Norton from the 1950s to the 1970s, this restoration was complete, both on the cycle part and on the engine.
It will be almost a shame to ride with this bike as it is perfectly usable…
Although it is a British import, with 11,000 miles on the counter, it has a French registration.
Sorry, this bike has been sold.
