Classic Motorbikes aims to connect motorcycle enthusiasts, buyers and sellers. Thanks to our experience, Classic Motorbikes proves that classic bikes are not only aimed to remain static behind vitrines in museums!
In fact, participating in several classic bike gatherings in Europe, Classic Motorbikes entrusts some of the flagships of the 500cc and 750cc works bikes of the 70s and 80s to well-known riders, mostly former world champions.
The Classic Motorbikes Team has already welcomed Christian Sarron, Giacomo Agostini, Kenny Roberts, Wayne Gardner, Freddy Spencer, Steve Baker, Yvon Duhamel, Johnny Cecotto…
The Yamaha Historic Racing Team
In 2015, the Classic Motorbikes Team participated in the creation of the Yamaha Historic Racing Team, consisting of a dozen racing Yamahas from 1974 to 1989. With the support of Yamaha Europe, the Team directed by Hubert Rigal participates in various events, in accompany of former world champions.
With support of Yamaha Motor France, the racing bikes are maintained by Jacky Germain, the former engineer of the 250 and 750 World Champions Christian Sarron and Patrick Pons.
He’s assisted by Jean-Charles Périco, former tuner of the Kawasaki SIDEMM Team, and Thierry Gérin, former technician of the Kenny Roberts Team. For the best working conditions, the team disposes of the “Big Boy”, the Yamaha Motor France motorhome-workshop.
