In 1972, a few years after Honda introduced its famous CB 750 Four, Yamaha released its first 750 cc motorcycle, of which we are offering a unit today, the TX 750.
Buyers would have to wait another year before it got to Europe, where its commercial career debuted in 1973. Equipped with a 4-stroke twin-cylinder SOHC engine developing 63 hp @ 6,000 rpm, Yamaha was trying to be different with a more modern motorcycle, with a fairly complex balancing mechanism. The TX 750 was very well built for that time and came equipped with very efficient dual-disc front brakes and aluminium rims.
This Yamaha TX 750 was entirely restored a few years ago and was rarely driven since. It is available immediately in the center of France with its French registration. |
