This extremely rare 50 cc works race bike is a true works racer (with 6 speed gearbox).
With only two examples produced for the rider Lasse Johansson, this Maïco participated in the 1970 & 71 World Championship in the speed category 50. The official pilot marked points in both championships (Grand Prix of Czechoslovakia).
This Maico has never been restored. Only the body was repainted (faring, tank, saddle). The mechanics are in excellent condition, the bike is 100 % original.
