We are happy to offer for sale this beautiful motorcycle concept created in 1995 by French designer Eric Loiseleux.
Built around a 1978 6-cylinder engine from a Honda CBX, this unique motorcycle was built as the "show-bike" for the 1996 Salon du deux-roues in Paris. Widely acclaimed during this show, the Rebel 1000-6 was also presented at the 1997 SEMA show in Las Vegas, NV, USA.
Even thoughthe CBX engine is the main part of the motorcycle, the rest of the build also took from Honda's catalogue. The frame was custom-built in aluminum, the single swinging arm and rear suspension come from a RC30. The air intake is also a custom, carbon-fiber element.
In the front, the Rebel 6 CBX Concept uses a Paioli inverted fork, the braking system is a Beringer unit with dual, 310 mm discs and 6-pistons calipers.
This unique Honda Rebel 6 CBX Concept is now available in Paris with its French road registration. It will be serviced prior to delivery.
