The Harley-Davidson WL 45 Flathead is the civil version of the WLA produced in the U.S. during the Second World War.
In 1942, while the war effort is going at full speed, the American motorcycle industry is working almost exclusively for the Army, producing nearly 90,000 WLA. The civil road version remained in production during this period, yet in numbers largely inferior to those of its military sibling. In 1942, only 142 WL 45 Flathead were produced.
The motorcycle presented here is a 1942 WL45. Powered by a 750cc (45 ci) engine, the Harley-Davidson WL 45 Flathead came standard with a “Goulding” side-car.
This motorcycle was entirely restored in Spain. It is in perfect working order and presents exceptionally well.
This Harley-Davidson WL45 Flathead is immediately available in Spain with its Spanish registration. |
